Refiners agree. Gold exchanges slowing.

This weekend I went to a retreat in the Poconos for the Men’s Club of our local synagogue and there, I had a chance to speak with a gentleman who works in precious metals industry.  Bruce works for one of the larger metals refiners in the Philadelphia area for nearly seven years and has a unique perspective on the industry.

Where’s the gold? Did everyone sell what they had?

Last night was the Vendor Boutique show at Temple Sha’arey Shalom in Springfield.  On hand were all of the vendors one might expect to see: 31 Handbags, Scentsy, Silpada, etc.  The organizers of the event did a fantastic job of advertising the event in local media and in the synagogue’s newsletters.  Still, the turnout was disappointingly-low.  It was a weeknight and the weather was lowsy.

I made no gold exchanges!  What a dud!  To travel all the way from Philly to Springfield ...

Upcoming Jewelry Exchange in NJ
